Since 1999, Photon Systems develops innovative Deep-UV lasers. With the looks and energy consumption of a HeNe laser, you get a laser at DUV wavelengths that you would normally need a large excimer or YAG/UV laser.

Photon Systems manufactures lasers on 2 DUV wavelengths:
- HeAg lasers; 224nm, quasi-CW, peak powers to 50mW, narrow linewidth < 3GHz
- NeCu lasers; 248nm, quasi-CW, peak powers to 250mW, narrow linewidth < 3GHz
