Pulse generator from BNC – Berkeley Nucleonics
BNC is developing and manufacturing function generators (signal/pulse), digital delay-generators (DDG), multimeters and universel frequency counters.
Model 575 is BNC’s most sophisticated model in its series of digital delay generators. It has 8 channels offering the next features:
• 250ps timing resolution with < 50ps jitter
• 8 independent outputs with full individual programming and control
• Internal rate generator, 5ns period resolution over entire frequency range (20MHz)
• Complete channel and system setup stored in memory; provides 14 memory storage slots
• Remote programmability: RS232, USB and Ethernet
• Dual inputs (gate and/or trigger)
Further characteristics are multiplexing of the different channels, triggering of a predetermined number of pulses, single shot, adjustable dwell time and external clock-input, fixed memory and programmable FPGA.
The most frequent users are university laser programs, chemistry, timing applications and everywhere where laser triggering is playing a significant role.
