For five years now the International Photonics Event has been characterized by the presence of a wide variety of photonic applications and developments. Worldwide the number of developments in photonic R&D area almost endless.
New technologies are widely developed and applied in a wide range of applications. There is almost no market segment where photonics-related applications are irrelevant, with photonics often in the role of 'Enabling Technology'.
Therefore the impact of photonics on society and industry are focus areas in the conference program. Speakers, exhibitors and participants will be challenged to profile themselves regarding these focus areas in order to maximize the chances for meeting the right people for new business development.
