Boulder Nonlinear Systems, Inc. (BNS) announced the release of their new High Speed, Pure Phase XY Series Spatial Light Modulators (SLMs). This new product is capable of speeds up to 500 Hz, providing users optimal performance for the most demanding SLM applications.
The new product is available in two formats: 256 x 256 and 512 x 512. Both are packaged as complete systems incorporating the High Speed Optical Head with easy-to-use Drive Electronics, and Software. These High Speed Phase SLMs are critical components enabling applications such as adaptive optics, pulse shaping and optical trapping.
According to BNS President and Director of R&D Steve Serati, "BNS introduced the world's first pure phase-only Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) SLM in 1996. Since that time we have been diligently working on improving the performance of our SLMs with regard to increasing speed and diffraction efficiency."
Product Data Sheets describing this new product version are now available.
